Rev. Basia, PhD, is an Alternative Holistic Psychology Master and counsels people who have experienced trauma. She teaches at Awakenings, Laguna Hills, CA; Visions & Dreams, Costa Mesa, CA; and at the Temple of Light and is the Editor of the Temple of Light (Irvine, California) magazine, Radiance (www.radiancemagazine.org).
She has many years of experience as a speaker and published From Ash to Flame: Women Rising during December 2014. Her second book, Step into Your Power … and FLY! will be published by summer 2016. Her third book, Breaking Adam’s Rib: Healing the Fracture Between Women and Men is currently being written.

She has been a Donate Life Ambassador (www.donatelifecalifornia.org) after donating a kidney to a stranger on November 3, 2010.
She attended the Commission on the Status of Women www.un.org/womenwatch/daw/csw) at the U.N. from 2007-2010. During March 2010, Christ was on a panel with Fran Drescher discussing the topic of “Women’s Health Care Globally.”
She was nominated as one of the OC Metro’s Top 20 Women to Watch in 2009.
Christ received her B.S. in Business Administration from Elmhurst College, an M.B.A. from Keller Graduate School, and a Ph.D. in Spiritual Counseling through University of Metaphysical Sciences. She has earned a Masters Degree in Holistic Alternative Psychology through the Nationally Accredited M.I.N.D.S. Institute (Mind Inspired New Dynamics System) with Dr. Delores Seymour.
She was trained and became a domestic violence advocate during August 2015. She now teaches at a local domestic violence shelter.
